The A to Z Patch™

The A to Z Patch™ is a series of children’s books which bring together fruit and vegetable friends from around the world who connect with the reader by exploring feelings and emotions through fun actions.

It is an interactive series written to be read aloud by parents and caregivers to engage and entertain pre schoolers.

• Twenty-six books encompassing the alphabet from A through to Z
• Each letter is a fruit or vegetable character
• Each character is linked to a feeling or action
• Feelings and emotions are explored through the characters, i.e. feeling mischievous, loving, angry
• Each story includes fun actions to help engage both the reader and the child
• Prompts are used to help encourage interaction
• Repetition is used throughout
• An early introduction to alliteration
• The characters are inclusive, creating a space for all children to identify with the feeling, emotion or actions 
• Introducing fruit and vegetables from around the world
• Each story ends with a question to encourage conversation and thought
